Flowers: Iris Germanica Nibelungen is a winter-resistant Iris. Her flowers are approximately 10 to 15 cm in size and are kept high on sturdy long stems.

The name Bearded Iris refers to the characteristic bearded structure on the flower of the Iris Germanica. This beard consists of a row of raised, hairy strands that grow from the petals. The Bearded Iris is named after this striking feature.

Iris Germanica Nibelungen prefers to be in a place in the sun. They prefer nutritious soil in a damp place. Iris Germanica are fast growers and winter -proof. The Iris can also be used as a cut flower.

Whatever variant of our Iris Germanica you choose, at the first rays of sunshine in the spring the shoots are shooting up. They slowly unfold their beautiful flowers, after which you can enjoy their beautiful flowers in the month of June.

The Bearded Iris, also known as Iris Germanica, is a flower that has been grown and appreciated for centuries for its beautiful flowers and fragrant scent. The history of the Bearded Iris goes back to ancient Egypt, where the flower was honored as a symbol of power and beauty.

The Bearded Iris is a timeless flower that has remained loved over the centuries. It is a symbol of elegance and grace and is often used in gardens, bouquets and flower arrangements.

Shipping times may differ due to the large quantity of orders and weather conditions. During the cold months we send our plants with a Heat Pack if needed. We keep a close eye on the weather forecasts.

Due to the large quantity of orders, adding plants to existing orders is not possible.

ATTENTION; We pack and ship our plants very carefully, damage to a leaf or discoloration is not covered by the guarantee.

Nelumbogarden packs and ships its plants very carefully. We use sturdy cardboard boxes and pack with kraft paper. It is possible for soil to fall out of the pot or a leaf to break during transport. We do not guarantee these two points. We ask you to open the box carefully and not with a knife or sharp object. Carefully remove the (kraft) paper. Some plants lower their leaves in the dark, these are restored within a few days. Due to changes in the season, the plants may differ from the plant shown in the photo.

Our company does not work with chemical pesticides. We pack our plants in recycled material and limit the use of plastic to a minimum.
