The Cymbidium Flying Sure orchid thrives best in a bright spot, but avoid direct sunlight. For example, place the orchid on an east or west-facing windowsill, where it receives bright indirect light. Make sure the plant is not too close to the window as this can lead to burning of the leaves. It is important to rotate the orchid regularly so that all sides of the plant receive even light and promote growth and flowering.

A Cymbidium should be kept slightly moist and should definitely not dry out. One watering every seven days is sufficient, check that no water remains at the bottom of the pot. Water the Cymbidium again when the soil is almost dry. In the summer period, an orchid can dry up faster and more watering is required.

Repotting: It is important to repot the Cymbidium in orchid soil once every three years, or sooner if the soil has decomposed. Use an airy soil mixture for the Cymbidium that is especially suitable for orchids. Never place the Cymbidium in potting soil.

After flowering, cut the flower stem to the heart from which the stem grew. The plant needs a cool period after flowering. After this rest period, the Cymbidium will form new shoots from which it will bloom again. The plant will bloom again after about 1 year.

Whichever variant of our orchids you choose, you will be amazed by every flower. With proper care, you will enjoy this beautiful orchid for years to come.
