Tillandsia Rainforest Red is delivered as a plant as shown in the photo. The plant should definitely not be planted in the ground. You can hang the Tillandsia or place it in a pot or dish.

Care for Tillandsia:
The Tillandsia uses little water. It gets its moisture mainly from the air through its leaves, which contain small leaf scales. You can place your Tillandsia in a container with water for ten minutes once a week. It is important that no water remains in the heart before you put your Tillandsia back in its place. Therefore, let the Tillandsia dry upside down after its immersion bath. You use rainwater for the plunge pool.
The Tillandsia is not demanding on its location. As long as it is not placed directly in bright sunlight. This Tillandsia cannot tolerate temperatures below 15 degrees.

Nelumbogarden packs and ships its plants very carefully. We use sturdy cardboard boxes and pack with kraft paper. It is possible for soil to fall out of the pot or a leaf to break during transport. We do not guarantee these two points. We ask you to open the box carefully and not with a knife or sharp object. Carefully remove the (kraft) paper. Some plants lower their leaves in the dark, these are restored within a few days. Due to changes in the season, the plants may differ from the plant shown in the photo.
Our company does not work with chemical pesticides. We pack our plants in recycled material and limit the use of plastic to a minimum.
